The TechnoGYM Wellness System
With our NEW Technogym Wellness System, our professionals can set
members' goals, test a member's fitness level and tailor a customized
individual training program. Every BOOMERS Executive Fitness Center
member receives a Smart Key, the portable memory of the wellness
system. The Smart Key is customized with a training program and has the
capability to start the training equipment automatically, guiding the
member along his/her training program, totally eliminating the need for
a workout card. Members start their workouts by inserting the Smart Key
into the Key Reader Kiosk. Each member can access his or her strength
program along with the cardiovascular program on any of the Technogym
equipment and via any internet-enabled computer.
While members are working out on the various machines, all exercise
results are automatically recorded into the Wellness System. There is also an
easy to use visual interface for choosing machines and exercises. This
allows the Fitness Specialists to know what activities our members have completed and to advise our members as necessary, basing
the counseling on performed results and related improvement needs.
BOOMERS Fitness Specialists can generate reports on a member's results
with a focus on performance, training programs and compliance in a
reliable technically advanced way.
Another added feature is the messaging component of the Wellness system
that allows BOOMERS' Fitness Staff to communicate with members directly
through the Wellness Kiosk. The interactive kiosk also allows members
to view videos that clarify correct execution of all the equipment and
non-equipment exercises, even for stretching activities. At the
end of the workout session, members insert the key back into the kiosk
to download their results for that day's workout. Graphics and
images are available to explain performance and to compare them with
targets such as the New York Marathon and the Tour de France. Calories
burned, distance covered, weight lifted and other information is at the
member's fingertips.
Plus all Technogym cardiovascular equipment contains their own
individual entertainment center complete with TVs and radio and is iPod
audio and video compatible. The entertainment is built right in!
